FACEBOOK FRIENDS TO THE RESCUE
ART FOR WATER CAMPAIGN

Hello there my FACEBOOK FRIENDS! We here at Artists For Advocacy International have embarked on another journey to build our third water tank in Kenya! This water tank will be a 10,000 liter water tank in a very vital part of a Kendu Bay village where there is a great need for clean water. This water tank will be helping an area that has been ravaged by poverty and HIV/AIDS for decades and we have an opportunity to have a positive impact! The "Art for Water Campaign 2" is a very different campaign because this time only AFAINT founder Brandon Plains facebook friends will be donating!!! I Brandon Plain will match dollar for dollar every donation a facebook friend makes for this water tank! The goal for this tank is 1,300 dollars and we need to raise this money by July 21st so the tank can be built before the rainy season ends. Once the money has been raised a large sticker will be made with every person who donated name on it and stuck to the water tank so all the people of Kendu Bay, Kenya to see! The tank resembles the one pictured to your left but is considerably larger. The tank will be set on a concrete slab and will hold 10,000 liters of water which will be collected during the rainy season. This is as "green" as it gets!!! I cannot stress how important this tank is to the people of Kendu Bay which is situated right on Lake Victoria in Kenya. The main purpose of this tank is to not only provide water for the area which has a devastating dry season but so widows and young children won't have to walk miles to find water in the dry season. I had the privilege of visiting Kendu Bay and witnessing this first hand. Below are some of the pictures I took concerning this situation and the link so that all of you can make your donations. REMEMBER SMALL DONATIONS GO A LONG WAY! I HAVE APPROX. 125 FACEBOOK FRIENDS AND IF ONLY 60 OF THEM GAVE JUST TEN DOLLARS I WOULD PERSONALLY MATCH THE REST AND WE COULD START BUILDING THIS TANK IMMEDIATELY! SO PLEASE HELP US IN THIS LABOR OF LOVE AND SACRIFICE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL BRANDON PLAIN AT FLAMINGHILL@MSN.COM
